The tie vote: what equal votes mean

Why this matters. The "tie vote" (called "popil" in Russian-speaking clubs) is the game name for a situation where several candidates have the same number of votes. The next procedure depends on the specific edition of the rules.

What to do. The host announces the tie and runs the extra speeches and the re-vote that the rulebook provides. A player judges not only who is suspicious, but also which outcome keeps the team's chance of winning.

How it sounds. "We have a tie between two and eight. I will explain why for me it is more important to check two by vote, and not just repeat my old suspicions."
